About

The Free Indeed Project of Charlotte is a faith-based organization incorporated in North Carolina and recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) in 2020.

We are a consistently growing network of influencers who go to great lengths to enhance the lives of disenfranchised and post-incarcerated women regardless of race, ethnicity, color, socio-economic standing, or religious belief.

Our position is that we were all created with purpose, and we strive to work diligently alongside those women who are determined and ready to make impactful changes in themselves to become contributing community leaders.

A DREAM DEFERRED

"What happens to a dream deferred?

Does it dry up, like a raisin in the sun,

or fester like a sore, and then run?

Does it stink like rotten meat,

or crust and sugar over like a syrupy sweet?

Maybe it just sags like a heavy load,

or does it explode?"

-Langston Hughes
